Iain Gardiner was born in the UK and educated in South Africa where he graduated in Graphic Design from the University of Cape Town. He is an internationally acclaimed Contemporary Artist and an award winning Creative Director.
Advertising
After Graduation Iain started working at The White House Advertising Agency (DDB) as a Junior Art Director/illustrator before moving to Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising as an Art Director - where he stayed for over five years before moving onto Ogilvy & Mather and later Advantage McCann. In 2003 Iain created his own creative company in London.
Iain is a conceptual Creative Director with experience in all facets of advertising both above and below the line - working on projects from concept through to finished art. Artwork
Iain's art has been exhibited in public and commercial galleries throughout the world and can be found in numerous private collections. He's exhibited in the BP Portrait Awards at the National Portrait Gallery in London and has received lots of prestigious awards including the RMS Gold Memorial Bowl Award for the best miniature art work in the world.
