Iain Gardiner Creative
Iain was born in the UK and educated in South Africa where he graduated in Graphic Design from the University of Cape Town. He is an internationally-acclaimed Contemporary Artist and also a Freelance Senior Art Director in advertising.
Artwork
Iain's art has been exhibited in public and commercial galleries throughout the world and can be found in numerous private collections. He's exhibited in the BP Portrait Awards at the National Portrait Gallery in London and has received lots of prestigious awards including the RMS Gold Memorial Bowl Award for the best miniature in the world.
His work has been featured in local and national newspapers, magazines, catalogues and books

Advertising
After Graduating from UCT Iain started working at The white House Advertising Agency (DDB) as a junior Art Director/illustrator before moving onto Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising as an Art Director - where he stayed for over five years before deciding on adventure and moving to Namibia to work for Ogilvy & Mather and later McCann. In 2003 he moved back to the UK and has been working in London for the past 16 years.
Iain is a conceptual Senior Art Director with experience in all facets of advertising both above and below the line - working on projects from concept through to finished art. He has been very fortunate to have worked on some very exciting (iconic) brands - which you can see in his advertising portfolio section.
